RefWorks
Working on a dissertation, report, literature review or anything else that requires references and wishing you had a better way to organise them? Then RefWorks is for you! Create your own personal database of references by importing them from online databases, saved text files or other reference management software, then write your paper and insert your references where you need them as you go. Finally, create your bibliography quickly and easily using the information from your reference database.

1. Go to https://web.nhs.net/owa/redir.aspx?C=9944dd1869ad44778db4f1998f7d8ca7&URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.athens.ac.uk%2fmyathens
2. Enter your Athens user name and password
3. Click on RefWorks from the list of resources provided
4. The first time you use RefWorks you will need to register, but next time you login it will take you straight in
5. Use the handy Quick Start Guide or FAQs to learn how to use the program, or contact the Information Skills Trainer on x6742 or https://web.nhs.net/owa/redir.aspx?C=9944dd1869ad44778db4f1998f7d8ca7&URL=mailto%3asianaynsley%40nhs.net to arrange a training session on reference management.

Please note these are trial resources which will last until the end of October 2009. So the more you use them the less chance we will lose them!
